The Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, condolences to the families of the victims of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, wishing the injured a speedy recovery .
In a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Masjedi said, "The painful fire that broke out in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, which led to the death and injury of dozens of citizens, brought a great deal of pain to our hearts."
He added, "I express my condolences to the families of the victims of this accident, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery, and I ask God Almighty to the victims of mercy and forgiveness."
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed to hold an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers today, against the backdrop of the tragic accident at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, and also directed to declare mourning for the lives of the hospital's victims .
