The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condolences over the fire in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad .
The ministry said in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We express our deep sorrow for the fire incident that broke out in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, and the resulting deaths and injuries."
The Ministry expressed its "sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the leadership, government and people of the sisterly Republic of Iraq, with wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured."
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed to hold an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers today, against the backdrop of the tragic accident at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, and also directed to declare mourning for the lives of the hospital's victims .
