Real Madrid star Karim Benzema scored two goals and made another, during the Cádiz match, in the framework of the 31st round of the Spanish League.
Benzema, with his two goals, achieved a remarkable record that only former Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez could reach.
According to the "Opta" statistics network, "Benzema scored against 35 teams he played against in the Spanish League Championship, equivalent to the achievement of the legend of the former team, Raul Gonzalez."
Benzema was also able to contribute 88 goals with Real Madrid in the league, beating Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 87 goals.
The Opta network indicated that "Benzema has thus become the most contributing player to the goals in the Spanish League during the twenty-first century."
Real Madrid shares the top of LaLiga with 70 points with Atletico Madrid, but Roji Blancos will have a match tomorrow with Huesca.
