The National Security Agency announced today, Friday, the seizure of five tons of expired medicine in Basra Governorate.
A statement by the agency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “based on accurate information from a cooperating citizen and within the field trips conducted by the National Security Agency to follow up the drug prices and its validity, the agency’s detachments, in conjunction with an inspection detachment of the Health Directorate in Basra Governorate, managed to seize five Tons of expired medicine in one of the scientific offices located in the Algiers neighborhood after obtaining judicial approvals. Detachments confiscated lists and receipts for selling medicine to various governorates, including the capital, Baghdad, at low prices.
