National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji described today, Thursday, The Hol camp as a ticking bomb, while stressing that Iraq needs a practical and final solution to this issue.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji received in his office today the American Ambassador in Baghdad Matthew Tueller, noting that "the meeting indicated a strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States of America to complete the previous dialogues that took place, according to the request of the Iraqi government.”
The American ambassador emphasized that his country "looks forward to ensuring that the dialogue with Iraq is not limited to the security side only, but in the scientific, economic, cultural, and other fields as well."
The meeting touched on the file of the Hol border camp with Syria, where Al-Araji pointed out that "Iraq needs a practical and final solution to the camp issue, with the participation of the international community, as it includes multiple nationalities and all of them are terrorists." Because there are 20 thousand Iraqi children, between a child and a juvenile, and these will become ISIS militants who pose a threat to Iraq and the region, if not everyone unites to solve this problem that threatens the security of Iraq, the region and the world.
