Al-Kadhmi and Al-Kaabi agree to release the salaries of retired

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, today, Friday, telephoned Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhmi to discuss the issue of delaying the payment of retired brothers ’salaries.

A statement of the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Prime Minister confirmed the release of the salaries of retirees during tomorrow, Saturday."

The statement pointed out that "it was agreed that securing the salaries of retirees and the social welfare network is one of the first priorities for financing and spending in all months before the three presidencies."
