The Presidency of the Council of Representatives rang the bell to start the voting session for the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhmi.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi and Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhmi and his cabinet had entered the Parliament Hall in preparation for the start of the confidence-giving session.
He added that the Presidency of the House of Representatives rang the bell to start the voting session for the Al-Kadhmi government, pointing out that the number of deputies in the parliament hall reached 233.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, had held a closed meeting with the heads of the parliamentary blocs in the presence of the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhmi and his cabinet.
