The MP from the Construction Alliance, Muhammad Shi'a Al-Sudani, confirmed the existence of calls from some political blocs to make amendments to the ministerial cabinet submitted by Allawi, pointing out that holding a session of granting confidence is subject to making the amendments.
The Sudanese said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that some political blocs, especially the Kurdish, Sunni and even Shiite, have reservations about the ministerial formation submitted by the head of the commissioner, and called for amendments before voting on them.
He added, that the vote on the ministerial cabinet is subject to some amendments to it by the Prime Minister-designate, noting that if no amendment is made to the ministerial cabinet, the special session will not be held to give confidence.
