The leader of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, Osama al-Nujaifi, today, Wednesday, told the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, confirmed his efforts to resolve the Kurdish candidates for ministerial portfolios, before the voting session to give confidence to the government tomorrow.
Al-Nujaifi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency : "The list of ministerial booths that were brought up to us, was free of the names of Kurdish ministers, and left the names fields blank in front of the ministries assigned to them."He added that "when we asked the Prime Minister-designate, he mentioned that he was seeking to resolve the issue before the voting session, and he left the fields blank until a discussion with them."
Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi met today, Wednesday, with the Iraqi Forces Alliance.
While the leader of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, Osama al-Nujaifi, confirmed that the coalition representatives will attend the parliament session tomorrow and vote for the government
And the Presidency of the Council of Representatives has set tomorrow, Thursday, the date for holding the session of giving confidence to the Allawi government. The Prime Minister in charge of forming the government, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, confirmed that tomorrow the first cabinet of independent candidates will be voted on.
