Sayyed al-Sadr calls for a million-demonstration condemning the US troops

The leader of the Sadrist movement, Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr called for a peaceful demonstration of a million people condemning the US troops in the country and its violations.

Sayyed al-Sadr tweeted on Tuesday that "the sky of Iraq, its land and its sovereignty are violated by the invading forces. So to a peaceful and united demonstration filled by victory to be into a million people and condemn the US presence and its violations, so gather yourself and do not hesitate,"

He added, "Your Iraq and your Hawza are crying out to you, do not hesitate and I am sure that you will prove to everyone that you will not bow to global arrogance,"

“Afterwards, we’ll be having a popular, political and parliamentary stances that protect Iraq, the people and the sovereignty,” the tweet included.
