Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports in the House of Representatives MP Abbas Aliwi said today that the House of Representatives vote on the law of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee is a major achievement to serve Iraqi sports.

The Chairman of the Committee in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that the law will represent a qualitative transition in the work of the Commission to support the Iraqi Olympic work as it came after a legislative vacuum extended for about 16 years in light of the inability of previous sessions to pass the law Legislation has important legislation through its efforts, contacts and meetings with various bodies and sports personalities in order to reach a law that meets the aspirations of athletes in Iraq.
