Houthis: Missile attack targets US aircraft carrier in Red Sea

Ansar Allah Al-Houthis confirmed on Friday that they targeted a US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea with a missile attack.

Houthi spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We targeted the US aircraft carrier "Truman" and a number of its warships in the northern Red Sea with a number of missiles and drones."

He added that "the operation thwarted a new air attack against our country launched from "Truman", and it was forced to leave the area north of the Red Sea."

"We renew our continuation in performing our duty towards the oppressed Palestinian people," stressing that "the operations will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted."
