Iraq seeks to open a new page of economic cooperation with its Arab environment

    Iraq is seeking to open a new page of economic cooperation and balanced relations with its Arab environment through the activation of economic and trade relations and the signing of bilateral agreements, Trade Minister Mohammad Hashim al-Ani said Monday.

    Al-Ani said during his meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Hassan Murad, according to a statement received by his media office that Iraq seeks to open a new page of economic cooperation and balanced relations with the Arab environment through the activation of economic and trade relations and the signing of bilateral agreements, especially as the country has become attractive for investment after Security and economic stability.

    We hope to activate the Iraqi-Lebanese Joint Committee to achieve economic integration between the two countries in various fields and that the coming period will witness a realistic study on the level of relations and finding areas for their development in line with the desire of the two countries to find new horizons for cooperation.
