The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, and the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, agreed today, Friday, to proceed with the legislation of important laws and activate the supervisory aspect.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received at his residence the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim."
The statement added that "Al-Hakim congratulated the success of the process of electing a new Speaker of the House of Representatives, which contributes to completing the political entitlements and continuing the steps to strengthen the supervisory and legislative role," praising "the great role of Al-Mandlawi, who worked to manage the legislative authority with all professionalism and transparency and contributed to the completion of a group of the most important and prominent laws that were suspended for long periods."
Al-Mandlawi said according to the statement "All national political forces work on the principle of care, responsibility and integrated work to activate the supervisory and legislative aspect and increase interest in meeting the aspirations of the people and supporting service orientations, and preserving security and stability."
