An outer planet with 3 suns brings hope for unprecedented space exploration

Scientists have discovered a new planet that has attracted attention to its proximity to Earth, its potential for future observation, and potential signs of life outside our planet.The LTTE 1445Ab was found 22.5 light years ago, using data collected by NASA's TESS satellite.

The planet orbits around one of its three red dwarf stars, believed to have about 8 times the mass of our planet, and has a temperature of about 320 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius) on its surface. If you stand on the surface of the planet, you'll see 3 suns in the sky, but two are very far away and look small, said Jennifer Winters, the research co-author.
