Al-Kaabi: Iraq in getting closer to the Budget of Planning

INA - BAGHDAD

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan al-Kaabi met the representative of UNDP Zeena Ali Ahmed to discuss the recent updates of Parliament Development Institute.

Al-Kaabi explained that there are efforts by the government and Parliament to move from traditional budget to a budget of Planning and Programs.

Both have agreed to start workshops by the experts of UNDP to finalize this project.

They discussed stability and the national program of peaceful coexistence that the Parliament is carrying out along with and the plan of the sustainable development for the next ten years.
