SMC: Terrorist hideouts destroyed by airstrikes in Anbar

    The Security Media Cell announced, today, Thursday, the destruction of terrorist hideouts in Wadi Houran in Anbar.

    The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, to pursue the remaining elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs, and in a qualitative operation that confirms the high coordination and fruitful cooperation between the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency in the Ministry of Interior and the Counter-Terrorism Service, and under the supervision and planning of the Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command, (6) hideouts were monitored and identified, in which the defeated and failed ISIS detachments were located in Wadi Houran within the Anbar Operations Command sector."

    It added, "Based on accurate intelligence information, the valiant Air Falcons carried out air strikes using F-16 aircraft, targeting these hideouts, and they were destroyed." 

    It continued, "We repeat our message to the remaining elements of the defeated ISIS gangs that death is your inevitable fate, and you have no escape from the grip of our men who have dedicated themselves to Iraq, and we will continue to pursue you wherever you are."
