The Security Media Cell announced, today, Friday, the killing of 4 terrorist elements in a strike by Iraqi F16 aircraft in the Hamrin Mountains in Kirkuk.
The cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "in a qualitative operation based on accurate information from the Knights of Information in the Military Intelligence Directorate, and close follow-up by the Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command, the Air Falcons - using F-16 aircraft - carried out successful and accurate air strikes targeting a terrorist hideout in the Hamrin Mountains within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector, inside which was a detachment consisting of (4) ISIS terrorist elements, as the hideout was turned into rubble by the Air Force."
The statement added, "We will continue to bury terrorism and we will not be lenient in our operations against these defeated gangs."
