The F-16 aircraft launched a successful air strike, killing a number of terrorists in Diyala.

A statement by the Security Media Cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "in continuation of the offensive approach and the pursuit of terrorist elements of ISIS, and according to accurate information and follow-up by the Directorate of Military Intelligence and under the supervision, planning and follow-up of the targeting cell in the Joint Operations Command, the air hawks successfully carried out an air strike by F16 aircraft." in Hamrin within the Diyala operations sector.

He pointed out that "the strike resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists and the destruction of hideouts and guesthouses that were used by this terrorist group."
