The spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, announced on Sunday, the killing of 7 terrorists, including the so-called governor of Diyala, with air strikes in Hamrin mountain range.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Rasool said, "Iraqi security forces continue to pursue the defeated terrorist elements, through field follow-up and intensification of the intelligence efforts of the Military Intelligence Directorate in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the Air Force carried out two successful air strikes by F-16 aircraft, within the Hamrin mountain range.
Rasool added, "The two strikes resulted in the killing of 7 terrorists, including the criminal, the so-called terrorist governor of Diyala, called (Sami Mohan, nicknamed Ibn Abdul Rahman)."
