The Ministry of Transport announced today, Sunday, that an earthquake was recorded in the southeast of Mandali district in Diyala.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Our seismic observatories recorded after midnight on Sunday, February 2, 2025, an earthquake southeast of Mandali space in Diyala Governorate, with a magnitude of (3.4) degrees."
It added that "it was felt by citizens living near its occurrence," calling on citizens to stay away from false news and rumors and adhere to seismic commandments.
