Iraq: A membership in four committees in the Asian Boxing Federation

    The Iraqi National Olympic Committee announced on Monday that Iraq won membership in four of the working committees in the Asian Boxing Federation.

    "The President of the Iraqi Boxing Federation, Ali Taklif, won membership in the Executive Office of the Asian Boxing Federation unanimously, during the elections that took place today via the Internet," said the committee in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    Taklif added, "Iraq also won membership in four of the working committees in the Asian Boxing Federation, as the Vice President of the Federation, Elaf Rabie, was elected as a member of the Olympic Committee, and the Federation member Abbas Mohsen won membership in the Competitions Committee, as the Federation member Sarmed Faisal won membership in the Constitution Committee, and Nasser Jassim was elected as a member of the Medical Committee of the Asian Boxing Federation."


    The Boxing Federation was represented in the elections by the Federation President Ali Taklif, and the Director of Foreign Relations in the Federation Walid Shehab.
