The Secretary of the Central Boxing Federation, Ali Abd al-Zahra al-Gharawi, confirmed that the federation is heading to contract with a foreign coach to train the national teams, especially after the previous experience the union had with the Uzbek coaches Damir and Polat  .

Al-Gharawi said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Tuesday: “The President of the Central Boxing Federation, Ali Mandate, received an invitation from the Asian Boxing Federation to attend the AFC meeting that is being held in Uzbekistan and in the presence of the President of the International Federation, the President of the AFC, representatives from the International Federation and sports figures from Asia He continued, "The last meeting of the Iraqi Central Federation discussed the issue of the coach, and that we use Uzbek cards because they have a high level of boxing after the World Championships in Russia, and their first place was, which is an advanced country in the boxing game, and a difficult number in boxing  ."
