National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, confirmed on Tuesday that Iraq supports efforts to reach a comprehensive calm in the region.
"Iraq, the government and the people, stands and strongly supports all efforts made by the brotherly and friendly countries, to reach a comprehensive calm in the region," said Al-Araji in a post on X, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Al-Araji stressed that "peace and stability in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen is an urgent necessity that requires increased coordination and cooperation through constructive dialogue, for a better and more prosperous future for our countries."
