A one-month extension of the legislative term is approved by the parliament

    The Speaker of the Parliament, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, opened the work of the 17th session on Tuesday in the presence of 168 MPs.  
     
    A statement issued by the media office of the Parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the Speaker of the Parliament, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, opened the work of the 17th session in the presence of 168 MPs."
