Najaf Provincial Council Requests Extension of Census by One Additional Day

    Hussein Al-Issawi, Head of the Najaf Provincial Council, announced today, Thursday, the submission of a request to extend the census period in the province to complete the enumeration process in certain areas.

    During a press conference held in Najaf, attended by an Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent, Al-Issawi stated, "The request for an extension is due to issues related to the work of the census enumerators and supervisors in central Najaf and the Al-Kufa district. If approved, two registration centers will be established for citizens to register."
