The third phase of the population census kicks off next week: Erbil Statistics

The Directorate of the statistics of Erbil declared on Thursday that the 2^nd phase of the population census is ongoing for the second day, affirming that the third one will commenced next week.

Delzar Hama Saleh, Director of Erbil Statistics told The Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the second stage of population census in Iraq and Kurdistan region is ongoing for the second day, urging the citizens to dial the hotline 567 in case the census enumerators didn’t visit them”.

Saleh further stated that at”12 in midnight the 2^nd phase will end and the third one will start in the upcoming week and will continue till the middle of December, declaring that “the last phase does not require the presence of all family members”.

“The preliminary results will be announced after concluding the third phase,” he added.
