A press conference kicked off on Friday at the Arab States Broadcasting Union building in Tunisia to discuss the Arab Media Conference to be held next April in Baghdad.
The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi, said during the seminar, which was attended by the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "This seminar aims to discuss the Arab Media Conference, which will be held next April in Baghdad," stressing that "the Seminar witnessed the signing of the agreement on Baghdad's hosting of the conference."
He added that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed to provide full support for the success of Baghdad's hosting of the fourth session of the media conference," pointing out that he will participate in the conference between 150 to 200 media figures.
Hammadi announced "the launch of a special competition during which awards will be presented for the best journalistic work in the field of environment and climate change on the IMN's own account."
The head of the Iraqi Media Network had confirmed yesterday that "Iraq is part of the Arab countries radios, and will be the successful part and support it in all forums," pointing out, that "it was agreed to hold the conference next April and was discussed the details of it."
