The Ministry of Transport the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring announced today, Wednesday, the recording of an earthquake, 25 km from Shaqlawa in Erbil Governorate.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The earthquake was recorded at exactly 04:11:22 pm today local time and its magnitude reached (3.1) degrees."
According to the statement "the citizens in the area did not feel the earthquake."
