400 IDPs return to Nineveh

    The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced, today, Thursday, the return of more than (400) displaced persons to their original areas in Nineveh.

    The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "in continuation of the implementation of the government program, the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, announced the return of (406) displaced persons from the (Debka) camp in Erbil Governorate in the Kurdistan Region to their original areas of residence in the districts and sub-districts of Nineveh Governorate, in cooperation with the authorities of the region and the local government in Nineveh."

    According to the statement, the Minister directed that "returnees be included in financial grants and relief aid to support stability in the areas of return."
