Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Oropo announced the opening of an investigation into the Zionist entity's targeting of a UNIFIL force in Lebanon.
Oropo confirmed the safety of Finnish soldiers participating in the UNIFIL forces on the southern border of Lebanon after those forces were shot by the Zionist entity forces.
Oropo said that what happened reflected the seriousness of the situation there and announced the opening of an investigation into the incident.
Oropo added that Finland is monitoring the situation on the Lebanese border and the future of the UNIFIL forces will be determined in cooperation with the United Nations and other UNIFIL countries.
Finland participates with 200 soldiers in the UNIFIL forces deployed on the southern border of Lebanon since 2006.
