Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandlawi confirmed today, Monday, that the negative stance of many major countries towards the crimes of the Zionist entity contributed to expanding the scope of the conflict and dangerous aggression.
The media office of the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandlawi received Christiane Homann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq."
The statement added that "the two sides discussed the developments of the security situation in the region, where Al-Mandlawi expressed the possibility of expanding the scope of the conflict due to the continued crimes of the Zionist entity against the city of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen, and targeting cities and religious and political figures, headed by the martyr Hassan Nasrallah."
Al-Mandlawi stressed that "one of the most important reasons for the expansion of the scope of the conflict and the daily brutal Zionist aggression on Gaza and Lebanon is the silence of many major countries and their negative stance towards the continuation of the crimes of the occupation, which will cast a shadow over the security of the region and the world as a whole."
The statement continued, "The meeting also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation in various fields, and emphasized building a long-term partnership at various levels of common interest."
