The Popular Mobilization Forces Authority - PMF announced on Monday the launch of a major popular relief campaign to help the Lebanese people.
"In commitment to our religious, humanitarian and fraternal responsibility and to response to the call of the supreme religious authority in Najaf al-Ashraf, represented by His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani and based on the directives of the head of PMF, we announce the launch of the major popular relief campaign in Iraq entitled, Iraqi Stand - Iraqi Fazaa," included a statement by PMF - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement included, "This comes to provide relief and support to our brothers from the dear Lebanese people who are exposed to a brutal Zionist aggression that has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a large number of innocent civilians and heroic resistance fighters, as well as the displacement of tens of thousands from their homes and areas with the necessary financial, in-kind materials and the required humanitarian and medical aid."
