Zidan discusses the role of the judiciary in preserving the rights and property of Iraqi Christians

    The President of the Supreme Judicial Council(SJC)Faiq Zidan, discussed on Wednesday, the role of the judiciary in preserving the rights and property of Iraqi citizens of the Christian faith in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and the law.
     
    A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidane, received today the Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq and the world, Cardinal Louis Sako, and the Assistant Bishop Basil." 
     
    The statement added that "the meeting discussed the role of the judiciary in preserving the rights and property of Iraqi citizens of the Christian faith in accordance with the provisions of the constitution and the law."
