Three criminals were sentenced to death by the Central Criminal Court on Thursday for their affiliation with terrorist groups affiliated with ISIS.
The Supreme Judicial Council's media center stated in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the three terrorists participated in operations against security forces in Anbar and Salah al-Din provinces to achieve terrorist goals in order to spread terror and fear in the hearts of innocent citizens."
"The rulings were issued in terms of Article II / 1, 3 and 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005 and based on the provisions of Article IV / 1," the statement continued.
