Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, informed his club's management of a decisive decision.
The French newspaper "Le Parisien" revealed that Hakimi wants to continue with PSG, after his influence and impact increased within the team.
The newspaper added that "the Parisian administration received Hakimi's desire, and has already begun negotiations with those close to the Moroccan player regarding signing a new contract."
It indicated that "the negotiations between the two parties did not result in a decisive step, but are going in a very positive direction."
The newspaper "L'Equipe" revealed that Achraf Hakimi will be the fourth captain of the team this season after Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Moroccan star's contract with PSG ends in the summer of 2026, noting that he joined from Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 for 60 million euros.
