Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani extended his congratulations to the Iraqi athletes who secured various medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “The Prime Minister specifically congratulated athlete Najla Imad for winning the gold medal in table tennis,he also congratulated the fencing team members Ammar Hadi, Zain Al-Abideen Gilan, and Haider Ali for earning the silver medal, as well as Garrah Nassar for claiming the bronze medal in shot put, and Wuldan Nizar for his bronze medal in javelin throw.”
Prime Minister Al-Sudani praised,” these accomplishments, commending the efforts of the coaching staff and the Paralympic Committee for achieving these significant results that brought honor to Iraq in this international sporting event, he described the achievements of Najla Imad and the other champions as a major sports milestone, emphasizing the need to continue supporting and encouraging them to achieve even more outstanding results in future tournaments.”
