The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) expressed on Saturday, its strong condemnation of the attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany.
“MOFA expresses its strong condemnation of the tragic accident that occurred in the Christmas market in the city of Magdeburg in Germany, which resulted in a number of victims and the injured,” a ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said.
The ministry affirmed, according to the statement, "its full solidarity with the friendly government and people of Germany in the face of this tragic incident," stressing "Iraq's firm position in rejecting violence and extremism in all its forms ."
"its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery,” It expressed.
