11 Suspects arrested in Baghdad, MOI reports

    The Ministry of Interior-MOI announced on Friday that 11 suspects with outstanding warrants had been arrested in Baghdad.

    In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the ministry said, "The detachments of Baghdad Rusafa Police Command, represented by the police stations of Al-Shaab, Al-Karada, Al-Mada'in, Al-Sadr 1st, Bab Al-Sheikh, Al-Za'faraniya, and Al-Nahrawan, successfully apprehended 11 suspects wanted for various crimes under different legal provisions."
     
    The statement added that "these arrests were made during the execution of warrants within the respective areas of responsibility;" noting that "legal procedures have been duly carried out against the suspects."
