Hashim: We hope that the Argentina match will be the gateway to the second round

The assistant coach of the Olympic team, Jabbar Hashim, confirmed today, Thursday, that the team played with a tactical plan against Ukraine, and the players implemented the duties, expressing his hope that the Argentina match would be the gateway to the second round.

Hashim said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Olympic team presented a good level against its Ukrainian counterpart in the match that was held yesterday, Wednesday, which ended with the team winning by two goals to one," calling for "the Ukraine match to be a rehearsal for the upcoming match against the Argentine team, which he described as difficult.".

Regarding the upcoming Argentina match, Hashim explained that "the Argentine team is trying to regain its balance after losing its first match against Morocco by two goals to one," stressing that "the Argentine team is a different team and its technical level is very good, as it relies on high skill and speed in performance.".

Hashim expressed his hopes that the upcoming Argentina match would be the gateway to qualifying for the second round, calling on "the players to support the Olympic team in this tournament."
