Eight infiltrators who attempted to cross the border illegally in Dohuk were apprehended, according to the Border Forces Command, today, Thursday.
"Within the tasks of the Border Forces Command in addressing cases of infiltration and smuggling, the third regiment of the First Border Brigade within the First Region Border Command was able to arrest (8) infiltrators, including (6) foreigners who tried to cross the border illegally within the administrative borders of Dohuk province," the command said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The appropriate legal actions were taken against them, and an initial seizure report was organized," the spokesperson stated.
