Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi stressed today, Wednesday, the importance of the media’s role in supporting the ministry’s work, while praising the role of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) in spreading health awareness to citizens.
A statement from the Ministry of Health received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: that “Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi received the Director of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) Satar Al-Ardawi in the presence of the Ministry’s official spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, at the Ministry’s headquarters.”
"The meeting discussed increasing coordination and cooperation between the media office of the Ministry of Health, the Iraqi News Agency, and the Iraqi Media Network, and highlighting the work of the Ministry's joints and what has been achieved in terms of the government program related to the health sector."
The Minister of Health stressed according to the statement “the importance of the role of the media in supporting the work in the ministry and paying attention to what has been achieved from the ministry’s plans and the services it provides, praising the Iraqi media network and the role of the agency and its correspondents in delivering correct health information to the citizen.”
In turn, Al-Ardawi praised “the level of cooperation and coordination between the agency and the Information and Awareness Department in the Ministry of Health to spread awareness, accurate health information, and important achievements in the health sector.”
