A parliamentary delegation led by Al-Mandalawi makes its way to Ankara

Arriving in the Turkish capital of Ankara was a parliamentary delegation led by Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, the acting speaker of the parliament. 
 
 "An Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by the acting speaker of the parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, arrived today in the Turkish capital, Ankara, at an official invitation," according to a statement released by the acting speaker's media office and obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

In order to accomplish the goals of the two peoples and their shared interests, he continued, "The delegation is scheduled to begin a series of talks and bilateral meetings with a number of Turkish officials during its two-day visit to discuss a number of important files between the two neighboring countries, especially the files of security, water, and economy, and to activate bilateral relations at various levels."
