Al-Sudani Meets Saudi Crown Prince in Riyadh

    Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Sunday, Iraq’s aspiration for broader economic cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
     
    The Prime Minister's Media Office said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with the Saudi Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and increasing cooperation under the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, which has led to several arrangements in various fields.
     
    Prime Minister Al-Sudani expressed Iraq's eagerness to expand economic cooperation with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance growth and create new opportunities across diverse economic sectors, benefiting both nations and their peoples. 
     
    Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Prime Minister Al-Sudani, appreciating his participation in the World Economic Forum special meeting and affirming Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing relations with Iraq.
     
    The discussion also touched on the situation in Gaza, condemning the ongoing violence and humanitarian violations by occupation forces and stressing the need for concerted efforts to halt the conflict affecting regional and international stability.
