Iraqi Delegation, Headed by PM Advisor for Transport Affairs, Arrives in Ankara

    An Iraqi delegation, led by the Prime Minister advisor for Transport Affairs Advisor Nasser Al-Asadi, arrived in Ankara, Turkey, on Tuesday, to oversee the progress of the Development Road project.

    A statement from the Iraqi embassy in Ankara received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "An Iraqi delegation headed by Prime Minister's Adviser on Transport affairs Nasser Al-Asadi arrived in Ankara, Turkey, accompanied by the Director General of the Railway Company, Younis Khaled Jawad, and the Director of the Development Road Project, Safaa Jabbar Nasser.

    The statement added, "The Iraqi delegation will hold a meeting with the Turkish side to follow up on the progress of implementation of the development road, and to discuss procedures and agreements with the Turkish side to begin establishing the road and connecting points."

    “This meeting is an extension of previous discussions held in Baghdad and Ankara, aimed at discussing the latest developments and the project's completion stages,” the statement continued.
