President Rashid: The world needs a revolution in the fields of education, culture, and arts

    President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized on Tuesday, the importance of education and culture in the lives of peoples, noting that the world needs a revolution in the fields of education, culture, and arts.
     
    The Media Department Of The Presidency said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today at the Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the Director-General of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science, Mohamed Ould Amr and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani."

     

    During the meeting, the President of the Republic emphasized "the importance of education and culture in the lives of peoples," stating that "culture is the language of communication and rapprochement between nations and countries, and also a pathway for the development of countries."

    He added that "the world needs a revolution in the fields of education, culture, and arts," explaining that "the Iraqi people have suffered for years from a serious decline in these sectors due to the difficult conditions they have experienced in recent decades."

    The President of the Republic stressed to the Director of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture, and Science the significance of benefiting from Iraq's deep-rooted cultural and civilization history. He also highlighted the need for increased efforts to share this history with other nations and peoples, allowing them to explore the vibrant facets of this esteemed nation. Pointing out that “cultural diversity The religious and social aspects in Iraq are unparalleled in embodying the culture of peaceful coexistence among all components.”
