The Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) declared on Friday that 6,000 narcotic pills had been found in Anbar.
"A cache of narcotic substances estimated at 6,000 narcotic pills was seized in the Rumaila area of the Rutba district of Anbar, according to intelligence information and in cooperation with a force from the nineteenth brigade, and after searching," the directorate said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The drugs were turned over to the appropriate authorities," the statement read.
