The Iraqi national team kicked off on Monday, AFC journey by winning against Indonesia in a 3-1 match results at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
"The first half witnessed the Iraqi national team leading by 2-1, as player Muhannad Ali scored the first goal minute 17, but the Indonesian team was able to make to a draw scoring in minute 34 by Marcelino Ferdinan," said the Iraqi News Agency - INA reporter.
He added, "Iraq's second goal came before the end of the first half by player Osama Rashid at minute 47," noting that "in the second half, the Iraqi team added the third goal at minute 75 by the substitute Ayman Hussein."
