Manchester United overturned a 0-2 deficit against host Everton, and snatched a valuable point after a 2-2 draw, in the match that brought them together today, Saturday, in the 26th round of the English Premier League.
Everton ended the first half with a two-goal lead, with Beto scoring the first goal in the 19th minute, then Abdoulaye Doucoure managed to score the second goal in the 32nd minute.
In the second half, Manchester United managed to score a goal to reduce the difference through Bruno Fernandes in the 72nd minute, then Manuel Ugarte scored the second goal in the 80th minute.
With this draw, Manchester United raised its score to 30 points in 15th place, 13 points ahead of Ipswich, the owner of 18th place, which is relegated to the first division.
In contrast, Everton raised its score to 31 points in 12th place, coming close to deciding the issue of its survival in the Premier League next season.
