Iraq loses to Uzbekistan in AFC U-20

    INA - BAGHDAD 

    Iraqi National Youth team lost 0-1 to Uzbekistan on Saturday, in AFC U-20 Youth Cup 2023, Uzbekistan.

    The Iraqi News Agency - INA correspondent reported that "Iraqi National Youth team lost to Uzbekistan 0-1, in the second round of the Group A competitions in the AFC U-20."

    The second match in the same group, also on Saturday, resulted in Indonesia win against Syria 1-0.

    Uzbekistan was at the top of the group standings with 6 points from two matches, compared to 3 points each for Iraq and Indonesia, while Syria and Indonesia remained with zero points.

    The third and final round of group competitions will kick off on Tuesday, as Iraq vs Syria, and Uzbekistan vs Indonesia.
